Access the Library Online
The Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources are available at the library or in your home.
Visit the Beaver County Library System Home Page.
- Go to: Resources
- Click: Power Library
- Type: In your library card barcode number, then click submit
- Pick: Your search tool and start researching
Request Books Online
Visit the Beaver County Library System Home Page.
- Enter by Title, Author, Keyword, or Subject
- Click: Search The Catalog
- Find the title you wish to request
- Click: Request (to place multiple requests at once: check the box next to the item you wish to request, click “Add Marked to Bag” then click “View Bag” and then “Request Saved”)
- Enter your name and the barcode (without spaces) on your library card in the spaces provided
- Click: Submit
- Using the drop-down menu, select the library where you wish to pick-up your request
- Click: Submit
- When complete
- Click: Logout
The library you selected will notify you when the item is ready for pick-up
