  1. Hopewell Resident says:

Really happy about this new development & hope that there’s more to come. This is a breath of new life & expanded tax base for our community.

  2. Michael Bechak says:

Before Maronda home construction company was granted permission to build in Hopewell Township again, they should have been required to address and fix the the major drain issues their Autumn Ridge plan has caused on Steuer Lane since the completion of their plan.
The commissioners and the Hopewell Twp engineers that were in place from 1992 through the completion of the plan either looked the other way or failed to ensure the drainage systems that was put in place by Maronda actually worked. Because both parties didn’t do their job correctly, Steuer Lane collapsed multiple times and was closed for more than 5 years several years ago. The road was eventually reopened but closed again recently for the same reason – no drainage.
Hopefully our present commissioners and engineer will ensure this doesn’t happen again.
It’s been said by past and present commissioners, Steuer Lane is considered to be ancient landslide which is incorrect – it never collapsed prior to the Maronda development.

  3. With even more traffic on Brodhead Rd with this development, could you please consider putting a stoplight at the Hopewell Shopping Center? Traffic keeps getting worse, but no improvements are made in traffic control.

  4. The township should not be posting an ad for a private business on its website.

    • hopewelltwp says:

It is not an ad for a private business, it is an ad for housing within our township which creates taxes being paid once the housing is sold.
