DESCRIPTION OF HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP
Hopewell Township is a First Class Township
with a population of 13,254, encompassing an area of 17.2 square miles and
situate within Beaver County, bordering the northwestern tip of Allegheny
County. Hopewell Township has over 75 miles of local roads and 50 miles of
State highways.
There are approximately 5,446 residential homes, combined
with business establishments has an assessed valuation of $160.839,182.00
The annual Township property tax is 11 mills, the Beaver County property tax is
17.7 mills and the local school tax is 66 mills.
