Revised Depository Hours: 

Depository Spring/Summer Hours of Operation - April 6th thru October 31st:
Open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 6pm.
Depository Winter Hours of Operation
Commencing Monday November 2nd and ending Saturday November 28th, open from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Closed Thanksgiving.    Open Saturdays only from 9:00am to 5:00pm December 5th and December 12th. January, February and March open Saturdays only from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

NEW PROCEDURES:  Newspapers will no longer be collected by Hopewell Township. Newsprint may be deposited in appropriate containers at the following locations: 
Hopewell Elementary School, Kane Road
Margaret Ross Elementary School, Maratta Road
Moderne Glass Company, Airport Road
Newsprint may also be placed curbside during scheduled garbage pickup day.

This Fall, residents have the option of raking their leaves to the curb where the Road Department will pick them up with a leaf vac.  PLEASE do not include any other yard waste such as branches, grass clippings or animal manure.  For those who prefer to bag their leaves, this method of pick up will remain an option.  Biodegradable bags are available at the municipal building, five bags for $3.00.

GOLF COURSE; HALL FARM; OAKHURST; ANDREWS  AND BARRETT PLANS TUESDAY
CLARK MANOR; RIDGEWAY PARK; DAVIDSON HEIGHTS; MEADOW WOOD; LONGVUE ACRES; KINGS MILL MANOR WEDNESDAY
GRINGO TERRACE; CLEARVIEW ESTATES THURSDAY
WOODLAWN PARK; MT. VERNON HOMES FRIDAY

Rules & Regulations: 

Open to Hopewell Township residents only.  You must show proper identification. 
 
Speed limit on premises is 5mph.  Please adhere to all posted signs.
 
Dumpsters are available for scrap metal and building materials of which a fee from $5.00 to $50.00 will be imposed. 
 
NO PAINT, TIRES, BATTERIES OR FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS. 
 
Refrigerators & air conditioners will be accepted only if the Freon has been removed & document provided.
 
Compost:  Grass, shrubs, bushes and tree branches up to 4 inches in diameter are accepted free of charge.  
 
No commercial vehicles permitted.
 
PLASTIC BAGS  ARE NOT PERMITTED and must be emptied and taken from the premises.
 
The Township offers compost free of charge, as available.  You haul.
 
Logs:   Up to 10 inches in diameter, cut to maximum of four feet length will be accepted.
 
Concrete products, dirt & gravel:  Will be accepted.
 
Stop at the Attendant’s booth before entering the Depository.
 
Your cooperation and effort to maintain a clean site is appreciated.

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP RECYCLES
Recyclable materials are collected curbside on alternate Mondays depending on your location.  Call the Township Office at 724-378-1460 for additional details and collection schedule.  Your participation in the recycling program is mandatory by Township ordinance and Department of Environmental regulations.
