Earth Day Extravaganza

Hopewell Community Park is looking to bring the community together for an Earth Day Extravaganza to prepare the park for this coming summer. We’re in search of a few good volunteers to join us the morning of April 22, 2017. Some sample projects that will be need completed are: flower planting, picnic table painting, clean-up around the lake, painting of the playset, power-washing pavilions, and more!

Are you a member of National Honor Society? This is a great opportunity for you to fulfill some of those needed community service hours. Are you a girl scout or a boy scout? This is a great opportunity for you to potentially earn a badge. Looking for a way you and your family can give back to the community? This is a great family project to become involved in. Book clubs, church groups, knitting groups and more! We can’t wait to see you at the park. Earth Day Extravaganza will end with a picnic lunch at the park.
