The Hopewell Township Police Department has filed criminal charges against Arthur Lamont Henderson for a rape that was reported January 7, 2012, on Westfield Drive. Henderson has also been charged with two similar crimes in Ross Township, Allegheny County. Henderson is currently in custody in Allegheny County.

Jan 11, 2012 Missing Person Alert

Hopewell Police are asking for your assistance in locating a missing person who may be endangered. Kevin Cromer was reported missing by his parents on June 1, 2011. They reported that the last time they saw him was on Monday, May 30. They stated that Kevin Cromer is diabetic and has a history of medical issues. Kevin did not take his insulin, cell phone, or wallet. He is also known as “Jinx” or “Skippy.”

On date reported missing, he had a goatee and a "buzz" cut. Kevin is described as a white male, 31 years of age, approximately 5'9", 215 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He has a large 5" scar below his left knee along with a surgical scar. No known clothing description. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hopewell Police Department and speak with Officer Yerdon – 724-378-0557.

Residents are urged to lock their vehicles when parked.  There have been several incidents of vehicles, left unlocked and parked in residential areas, being ransacked and personal items stolen.  Notify the 911 police emergency number immediately if you view suspicious behavior in your neighborhood.
