Hopewell Township Meetings
The following Commissioners' meetings are scheduled for 2009 at
the Municipal Building, 1700 Clark Boulevard:
All Workshop meetings will be scheduled at 6:30pm prevailing time on the second Monday of each month,
with exception that the April meeting will be on the 6th and the May meeting
will be on the 4th.
All Business Meetings will be scheduled at 7:00pm prevailing time on the fourth Monday of each month,
with exception that the April meeting will be on the 20th and the May meeting
will be on the 18th.
The "Business Meeting" is designated the forum for public opinion.
The public is encouraged to express their complaints, suggestions, etc. at these
sessions. This meeting is also a voting session whereas the Commissioners
are able to officially act on matters of interest.
The "Workshop Meeting" is also open to the public. However this is a more
informal session where the Board of Commissioners have the opportunity to
discuss issues in more detail with minimum interruption. The Commissioners may
also vote to officially act on matters of interest.
Those who wish to express an opinion at the Business meetings are asked to call the Township office, 724-378-1460, in advance to be placed on the agenda.
The next scheduled Workshop meeting is Monday September 14th at 6:30 pm.
The next scheduled Business meeting is Monday September 28th at 7:00pm.
The next scheduled Planning Commission meeting is Thursday
September 24th at 7:00pm.
