Welcome to Hopewell Community Park General Directions:
Route 60 north, exit at the Hopewell ramp. Bear right onto Rt. 151 Gringo
Road. Hopewell Community Park encompasses 61 acres of primarily undeveloped woodlands, fields and wetlands. Purchased in 1967, all recreation for the community is centralized at this site and is coordinated through the efforts of the Hopewell Park Board and Recreation Coordinator, under the auspices of the Board of Commissioners. The Park Board meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Hopewell Community Park features:
Fire wood is offered for sale at the Park. Contact park superintendent Carl Wagner, 724-496-9791 for ordering details. Payment of $125 per cord/$75 per 1/2 cord must be made at the municipal building, 1700 Clark Boulevard, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. The
easily accessible lake offers fishing, as well as summer paddle boats.
Children summer programs include Camp Lakewood and Rec-on-the-Run. Other
park events include the Easter Egg Hunt in April, Fishing Derby in May, Parkfest
in July, October Fest, and Visit with Santa in December. Volunteers for
